I am a marketer on line, and just happened to be an Adventist as well. I can remember in the past, driving by a 7th Day Adventist sign at a church, and not understanding what it meant! All I could see in my mind was the word scientist, and then thought of Scientology?? So to me it is totally understandable that most do not know anything about us at all!
Of course I now understand that 7th day, means we believe that according to what Scripture tells everyone, the 7th day is the real or true Sabbath day, that was made holy and sanctified, meaning set apart at creation.
Way back in time the day actually started at sundown not midnight as we do now, so the 7th day being Saturday, would actually start at sundown Friday, and end at sundown Saturday.
I will go much deeper into the truth about the Sabbath later. The other part of the name is adventist. This is saying that 7th Day Adventists believe also in the fact that the advent of Jesus' second coming is very very soon! These are people who worship on God's Sabbath day according to the Bible, and who believe according to Scripture, that the end time events occuring all around us, points to Jesus returning for His people very soon.
The funny thing is, is I went to a 7th Day Adventist church because they went to worship on a Saturday instead of Sunday, and being a rebel, I felt that I wanted to "go against the grain", and not do what most everyone was doing, which was worshiping God on Sunday. I also wanted to find out what these rebels were up to, and the only way was to go in and ask.
7th Day Adventist Beliefs blog will serve two purposes for me. Firstly, it will allow me to share my faith with all of you 2400 searches a month, for the exact term 7th Day Adventist Beliefs and at the same time allow me to share something else I have discovered in the 8 years I have spent on the internet, creating an income from home in the nutrition field. I believe in what the Scriptures say when it says, I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us. I can be strengthened financially with and through Christ, through the information sharing in this simple blog!

7th Day Adventists also have a health message, and most Adventists are, I would say, about 50% vegetarians. Our prophetess Ellen G. White, the most published woman in the world ever, also gave us health messages in the mid 1800's and early 1900's before her death. What I have done in the past 7 years is become a vegetarian to a percentage of about 95% or so. Like I said, I wanted to share my beliefs with you, answer any questions, and help you to get through the myriad of falsehoods out there about God, His character etc. etc. By the way I have been so blessed ever since becoming a 7th Day Adventist, and accepting Jesus as my Lord and Saviour! It is first and foremost, as simple as accepting His gift of Salvation first. Then He helps you with everything including your repentance of sin. Then you get to have that sin burden of death penalty off of your back, and can be full of joy instead of worry in the subconscious, or on the surface daily my friend.
I realize that the mission field to be reached is huge on the internet, and someone has to do that. To reach people in the comfort of their homes, and not in the discomfort of standing in the doorway of their homes where the neighbors can see you are actually talking with "those people"!??
